A short tram ride from the CBD, the St Kilda foreshore offers all kinds activities including walking, jogging, rollerblading along the smooth paths. Then of course you could get into the water for a bit of kitesurfing, windsurfing or just a plain ol' swim. After you've enjoyed a barbie, why not check out the many cafes and bars nearby or check out the fairy penguins at the end of the pier.

You should first check with Port Phillip council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
